Question: If I go to the courthouse and buy a tax lien do I still have to participate in the auction and if I lose do I get my money back that I used for the tax lien?

Hannelore Inman: Curtis Remas i understand your question I “purchased” a deed and now it is “going to auction” if no one bids I get it, if someone bids, we have a bid off and if i don’t win I lose my money (if i did not go in person to bid) so, yes it is possible to lose your money. Make sure you read and understand the auction rules
