Question: How do you protect your assets? Different strategies for Different asset class like Stocks, real estate, farmland, commodities, bonds? I’m interested to learn from the experiences of everyone.

Darren Hm: Diversify into asset classes with low or negative correlations. Trading strategies count as assets, and their correlations are usually much lower than with traditional asset classes.This paper gives a general idea of what I’m talking about, though I would not implement the strategy as described in the paper (too vulnerable to tail risk).
